Life OS is a personal practice tool. Your entries are yours: only you can read them, nothing is sold or shared, there are no ads and no analytics trackers, and no AI reads your journal. You can download everything or delete your account at any time, from inside the app.
Your account identifier and, if you sign in with Google or email, your name and email address. Everything you write in the app: daily check-ins (scores, notes, energy tags), habits, weekly reviews, journal entries, goals, quarterly milestones, planner events and seasons, saved items, your purpose statement, life-phase choice and reminder settings. If you send feedback, we store the message with your account ID and email so we can reply.
In Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), on the free Spark plan. Security rules ensure each account can read and write only its own data — not other users, and not us from inside the app. The app also keeps an offline copy on your device so it works without a connection.
Only you. Life OS has no social feed and never shows your data to anyone else. The project maintainer can technically access the database through the Firebase console to keep the service running, and does not browse personal entries. Feedback messages are read to improve the app.
No selling or renting of data. No advertising. No analytics or tracking scripts. No training of AI models on your content, and no AI processing of your journal.
Google (Firebase) hosts the app and stores data; Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which means your browser requests them from Google. If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy applies to that sign-in.
"Try it — no account needed" creates an anonymous account tied to your browser. Save it to Google or email from the banner to keep it; if you sign out or clear your browser data first, that guest data can no longer be reached.
Download all your data as JSON: Account & data → Download all my data. Delete your account: Account & data → Delete account — this permanently removes your profile and every entry, then your sign-in. Feedback messages you sent are kept separately; ask via feedback and we will delete them.
